John Railton knifes Ezekiel Trenoweth on the jib-boom with Colliver’s instrument, and seizes box.
October 13, noon: The body of Ezekiel is found at Dead Man’s Rock and carried to Lantrig. Discovery of tin box containing the journal of Ezekiel.
